Auditions:
October 30-31, 2026

Join the brilliant comedy that has captivated audiences for over a century by auditioning for Community Theatre of Howell’s The Importance of Being Earnest. With its witty dialogue, clever plot twists, and satirical commentary, it remains a timeless masterpiece. Oscar Wilde masterfully combines humor, irony, and sharp dialogue to create a world where charm and hypocrisy walk hand in hand. At its heart lies a game of dual identities, romantic entanglements, amusing deceptions, curious social conventions, and humorous misunderstandings. All in a realm where the truth is rarely pure and certainly never simple, and nothing is more important that being… Earnest.
