Who and What is CTH Improv

CTH Improv began with Chris Salter and Ross Freeland.

The infamous comedic duo armed with many years of acting and improv training, including a stint with the world renowned Second City, wanted to share the improv experience in their hometown of Howell, MI.

After the wildly popular inaugural show, Chris and Ross found a huge following and the troupe grew.

The CTH Improv Troupe has hosted sold-out shows in partnership with the Historic Howell Theater – the perfect pairing of a powerhouse community theatre, a beautiful historic, downtown venue, and a liquor license.

They have added numerous open improv jams, a fun night to learn, try out improv yourself, or just watch the process of improv training.

Workshops are offered to provide the community with improv training that will improve participants ability to think on their feet, communicate, and enjoy a great time with great people. Soon, a certificate program will be added.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Chris Salter, CTH Improv Director.
