You’re Invited!

Looking to have some fun this summer? Would you or your child like to learn more about theatre? The Community Theatre of Howell invites you to join in on the fun of our Summer Camps! Campers of all skill levels are welcome!

The purpose of a summer theatre camp is to learn about the various aspects of theatre and performing. Campers will learn about stage direction, vocal projection, character development, various elements of choreography and musical vocal training. All of the camps offer differentiated instruction for campers based on their age and ability. This allows for campers to brush up on skills they already know, as well as learn new skills.

Campers will work together for two weeks to prepare for a final performance. This will be performed in front of family and friends in celebration of the camp’s completion and the skills attained!

More than one camper?
Use code 'CAMP20' to save 20% on two campers and 'CAMP30' to save 30% on three or more campers!

FAQS
Why are there auditions? All students who register for camp will be included! However, in the elementary camp, they will audition so that they can be placed in a special role for the performance. This year we will also hold vocal auditions for our Middle School Musical Theatre, so that solos can be assigned and music handed out ahead of time. Prior to auditions, we will also hold our infamous audition workshops, which are considered an important part of the summer camps. Please see camp specific information for these pre-camp audition dates and times.

How long is the camp? Camps are two weeks long and start times vary.

Do we need to buy an extra t-shirt? Maybe. Camp registration fee includes a t-shirt, but you may wish to purchase another. Campers are required to wear their t-shirt to camp every day.
